Bing has played guitar since he was first inspired by the Beatles' performance on the Ed Sullivan Show in February of 1964, when he was only 9 years old. He has not stopped playing since!
Bing has played in many dance and cover bands in Detroit and throughout the southeast Michigan area, while sharing the stage with music legends Chubby Checker, Herb Ellis, and The Four Tops.
Bing's musical stylistic range includes Rhythm & Blues, Funk, Blues, Classic Rock, Country, and Fusion Jazz. His favorite guitarists are Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Lee Ritenhour, Johnny Winter, Dickey Betts, Chet Atkins, George Benson, Steve Lukather, and Brent Mason, which is apparent while listening to his musical versatility.
Bing's tenor voice rings with a clear, easy-to-distinguish tone. He sings with a lush, sweet, and tasty style characterized by his edited note selection and wide vocal range.
